DRAFT Minutes of an Extraordinary Parish meeting held on Thursday, 10 October 2024 at 19:00.
Theddlethorpe Village Hall, Silver Street, Theddlethorpe All Saints.

Item PM/EO24-01 Chair’s Welcome
The Chair opened the meeting at 19:00 and welcomed the parishioners to the meeting. The minutes of the April 2024 Annual Parish meeting were signed by the Chair.
Item PM/EO24-02 Discussion and Representations
The Clerk provided verbal updates from the Viking CCS and Theddlethorpe Flexible Generation scheme, noting the TFGS contacts are speaking to the Councillors privately later in October. Once details are able to be shared, they will be.
The Chair provided background on the reason this meeting was called- the Council having previously resolved to consider applying to the NWS CiF for grants- and reminded the room of the rules of engagement when speaking in this type of forum.
In total, eighteen (18) attendees spoke to voice their opinions, and a few youngsters in the room were invited to make their feelings known as the NWS proposals are most likely to affect their generation in the first instance. A vote by show of hands was taken amongst the confirmed electors present; the votes being nine (9) in favour of a Council application to the CiF and twenty-five (25) being opposed. There was one person who was unsure.
There being no further business, the Chair closed the meeting at 20:10.
