No slides were presented. The representative gave an oral presentation about common concerns in homes and reminded parishioners that fire safety home checks were available; free smoke detectors are means-based. More information will be shared in due course on the Council webpage.

Item APM/26-05 Parish Council Financial Report
The AGAR was noted as having been sent for Internal Audit and that the aim is to put it forward for resolution at the 21nd May Parish Council meeting.

Item APM/26-06 Resident’s Representations and Discussions
Cllr Barker gave a Chair’s annual report as follows:

(start) And before you know it, a year has passed. We as a parish council have achieved quite a lot, even though bureaucracy tended to slow down some of our objectives at times. We have managed to install 3 defibrillators and added illumination to all of these. Our bus shelters have been maintained and one in particular has had major repairs.

We have also pushed, along with local councillors to enforce slower speed limits through both villages and further reductions are hopefully forthcoming. Our footpaths have also been in the spotlight, creating better access and reinstating others. We endeavour to keep these open and accessible for all to use. Also, along with our groundcare partners, who manage to keep the grass and vegetation trimmed.

With the help of our trusty Clerk she has managed to secure funding for some of our projects, enabling us to work within our means and provide for our villages without having to raise the Parish precept. None of this would not have been possible without the input, support and ideas from my fellow councillors and our dedicated and very proficient Clerk for all her time and efforts keeping us on the straight and narrow. I thank you all.

I do intend to carry on as chair for another year, unless contested at the next meeting. (end)

Only one resident query was made and was directed to the Trustees of the Elizabeth Rook charity; Trustee Cllr Sear understands that an AGM had been planned for May and would soon be publicised across online sources and noticeboards.

There being no further business, the Chair closed the meeting at 20:50.
